About the Artist

Scott Spradley spend his childhood summers working in his German grandparents blacksmith barn in a Zeil, a medieval village in Bavaria. Growing up in Florida, he never learned his mother native tongue. So to communication in those summers, he learned to interpret his surroundings visually. He studied functions, once he understood the physical makeup of his interest, he was able to deduct its use, its purpose, and use it accordingly. Each of those moments, his achievement of discovering his surroundings in his own terms at a young age is still a driving force in his life and art. In his Art, Work and Life he has continually sought new challenges, still driven to uncover the underlying functions of his surroundings, creating a large body of visual work on the way.

He studied Design, Photography, worked successfully as a Media Designer, Advertisement Photographer and has created hundreds of published medical illustrations. His Art is now focused on reoccurring behavioral patterns of individuals.
